Teaching & academics

Results sit comfortably above national benchmarks: 61% of GCSE entries reached grades 9-7, well ahead of the 23% national average, while at A-level 36% achieved A*-A and 68% A*-B, both above the national figures. The curriculum is broad, with GCSE, A-level, BTEC and the EPQ all on offer, and popular sixth-form choices include Mathematics, Psychology, Biology and Economics. Three modern languages - French, Spanish and German - are taught, and a SEN support figure of around 28% suggests a structure geared to supporting a range of learning needs.

Watch Passmate decide how to teach.

Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.

A small-class, all-through independent with results well above the national grain. Boarding flexibility and scholarship-linked bursaries make it worth a closer look for ambitious families in Kent.

That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.

Works alongside your child’s tutor - not instead of them.
