Teaching & academics

Pupils work towards GCSEs alongside vocational BTEC qualifications, giving families a mix of academic and applied routes through to the sixth form. The small cohort sizes mean teaching can be closely tailored to each pupil. The sixth form is very small, with eight pupils, which suggests a highly personal approach at this stage.

This isn’t a question bank. Watch it decide how to teach.

Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.

A small, independent school in Lewes for families who value a personal, close-knit setting over the scale of a larger institution.

That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.
