Teaching & academics

With such a low pupil-to-teacher ratio, teaching here can be closely tailored to each girl, and the small roll of 220 reinforces a personal approach. Academic scholarships are offered, rewarding strong performers and setting an ambitious tone. Pupils are prepared for 11+ transfer, and the school is inspected by the ISI.

Mobile phone policy

Pupils are not allowed to bring phones into school. The only exception being in the summer term for Form VI pupils who are allowed to bring a phone into school if they are travelling to or from school without a guardian. In this case, pupils leave their phones in the front office and collect them at the end of the day.

Watch Passmate decide how to teach.

Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.

A small Westminster prep where the remarkable staffing levels put individual attention at the centre of everything. Best suited to families seeking a nurturing, academically ambitious start for their daughters.

That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.
