South Hampstead High School GDST
School summary
Founded in 1876 and part of the Girls' Day School Trust, South Hampstead High School educates around 700 girls from ages 4 to 18 in Camden. The Independent Schools Inspectorate judged the school excellent for both education quality and personal development, with all compliance standards met. A pupil-to-teacher ratio of about eight to one is generous and points to small classes and close attention. Means-tested bursaries of up to 100 per cent at both 11+ and 16+ make the school accessible to families who might not otherwise consider an independent education.

Watch Passmate decide how to teach.
Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.
A well-established GDST girls' school with excellent inspection outcomes, small classes and a genuine commitment to access through full bursaries.
That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.
