Mobile phone policy

Phones may never be seen around school or in a classroom without permission given by a member of staff. Phones which are used around the site will be confiscated. If effort or achievement in academic or co-curricular activities becomes a concern it is likely that any/all devices may be confiscated for a period of time at the discretion of the HSM. Unacceptable use of mobile phones is covered in the ICT acceptable use policy which pupils must sign. Outside of the permitted times, pupils maybe allowed to contact home by agreement with the HSM. For pupils who have families living in different time zones, the mobile device rules will not prevent access to home.

Watch Passmate decide how to teach.

Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.

A historic, all-through boarding and day school where strong results meet breadth of qualification and a clear pastoral focus. Day fees of around £26,000 and boarding up to £50,160 are softened by means-tested bursaries for families who need them.

That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.
