Mobile phone policy

Pupils will not have access to their phones during the working day. Day pupils may bring a phone to school if necessary for travel purposes. Phones should be handed in on arrival in the morning to respective HOMs and should then be collected at the end of the day. Boarders will have their phones stored securely in the office during daytime and will have limited access to them in the evening. Sixth form can retain their devices overnight. In case of an emergency, parents should contact the house staff.

Means-tested bursary assistance available

Watch Passmate decide how to teach.

Answer as a child would. Left: what they see. Right: what it learns about them.

A small, well-resourced boarding school where strong results and a very low teacher ratio go hand in hand with genuine support for diverse learners. Fees are significant, but means-tested bursaries and scholarships widen the door.

That’s where Passmate comes in. Tutoring is the most effective thing in a child’s preparation - a well-tutored child can outperform the vast majority of their peers. Passmate works alongside your tutor, not instead of them: it learns how your child thinks, finds the gaps, and shows the tutor exactly where to spend each session - so the limited time you have lands on what actually decides a place.

Works alongside your child’s tutor - not instead of them.
